Four methods to enhance the anti-interference capability of CNC lathes
For precision equipment such as CNC lathes, there are stringent requirements for environmental control and operational processes. Any slight disturbance during the processing of precision workpieces can lead to deviations and unnecessary waste. Therefore, we must employ every possible method to enhance the anti-interference capability of CNC lathes. Today, Haishu Machinery, a CNC lathe manufacturer, will explain four major methods for improving the anti-interference capability of CNC lathes.
1. Constant temperature environment:
Temperature changes can cause thermal deformation of machine tools and dimensional changes of workpieces (thermal expansion and contraction). High-precision machining should be carried out in a constant temperature workshop (such as 20°C±1°C). Avoid direct sunlight and direct cold air from air conditioning blowing onto the machine tool.
2. Reduce vibration interference:
Isolate external vibration sources. Suspend high-precision processes during the operation of heavy equipment.
The machine tool itself operates smoothly, avoiding issues such as spindle imbalance and tool vibration.
3. Workpiece material and stress:
Understand the material properties (such as thermal expansion coefficient). For castings, forgings, or blanks with internal stress, perform stress relief annealing after rough machining to release the stress, and then proceed with finishing to prevent deformation due to stress release after machining.
4. Cooling and lubrication:
Use appropriate cutting fluid to effectively cool the tool and workpiece, reduce thermal deformation, and serve as a lubricant and chip remover. Ensure that the flow rate and pressure of the cutting fluid are sufficient, and the spraying position is accurate. Regularly maintain the cutting fluid (concentration, cleanliness).
